Hormones – I just loooooove being a woman..

A pregnancy kickstarts a lot of hormones in a woman’s body which leads to a hormonal unbalance – at least for me. I’ve always had the most perfect skin without any spots but after getting pregnant I’ve had some periods with spots on my chins and shoulders. I’ve tried several products, putting my hair up in a bun while the conditioner does it’s miracles in the shower to prevent the oil to irritate my skin, masks, exfoliator etc. Nothing does the trick.

Professional advice

When I visited Helle Thorup Spa in Aarhus yesterday to get a brow touch up I asked the beautician about my skin issues. She confirmed the hormonal thesis but didn’t just confirm it – she had a possible solution. Halleluja! I’m a constant sceptical and I want proof before I trust anything but at this point I’m desperate and I just want the spots to go away. I’ve also been stressed out lately about several bad influences in our lives which hopefully disappears sooner rather than later. It’s the Murad Blemish Control Rapid Relief Spot Treatment

It’s a small tube but tough so It’ll last a while. I’m supposed to use it at many time as I’d like a day. I’ll dry out my skin a bit but rather that than spots. Yesterday I applied it to my skin four times from the afternoon and until I went to bed.

I’ve used it a few times already and it stings a bit. That can either mean that my skin doesn’t agree with it or that it works. Hopefully the last possibility is the case 😉 It’s greasy but easy to apply to the skin.

I’ll keep you posted on how it turns out and show you the results 👍🏼
